FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

There's an Air Conditioner unit installed in the living room that is powerful enough to climatize the whole apartment. It works both for cooling and heating the apartment.

The quickest and easiest way from the Airport is by taxi.
Using either subway or bus takes at least 40 minutes.
You can check several options here:

The closest station is this one: https://goo.gl/maps/jKETQuhyQKHkVWmMA
Buses 19B and 773.
As for Metro stations:
- Baixa-Chiado: https://goo.gl/maps/3a9ySV6wY4NZpKsN6
- Rato: https://goo.gl/maps/Ycaqhj6eeSNjYPKK8
The walking path is easier from Rato to the apartment and from the apartment to Baixa-Chiado (mostly downward paths).

Parking in the street is for residents only. Nearby there are some streets with public parking, but all paid for. There are a couple parking lots nearby that allow unlimited entry/exit.
You can check this site for parking "Largo de Jesus": https://www.telpark.com/en/
Around 90€ for 7 days.
There are other possibilities, maybe cheaper but further and I don't have their contact.

The Internet service is a dedicated 500/100Mbps for each of our apartments. Ground apartments have an extra wifi extender to allow usage in the garden.

We can allow you to leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out for a couple of hours.
The closest lockers are in Baixa-Chiado station. You can find more details here: https://www.citylockers.pt/lisbon-rossio/
Pay close attention to the schedule of each Locker shop/station to make sure it fits your needs.
I think there are two possibilities:

1 - Estação Oriente: I would recommend the Metro, Red line, direction São Sebastião, exit at Saldanha, and change to Yellow line, to Rato.

2 - Santa Apolónia: from there I think it would be easier to grab an uber/bolt or taxi, but you can also catch the Metro, blue line, direction Reboleira, exit on Marquês de Pombal, and follow Yellow line to Rato.

From Rato station you can either walk through "Rua da Escola Politécnica" until Jardim do Príncipe Real and then Rua do Jasmim (plain or downward path, check the map please) or catch 19B (less frequent) or 773 (more frequent).
Trash should be taken to the nearest bins. There's a map by the entrance of the building indicating the best place for garbage disposal.
Garbage can only be placed in a recycling center nearby at Rua Ruben A. Leitão (see map). All trash must be well packed in proper bags.

Plastic/metal (yellow)
Paper (blue)

Each apartment has its own washing machine. It is integrated in the kitchen, that's why it's not visible in the photos.

For longer stays (12 nights or more) we provide free weekly cleanings with full linen and towel replacement.

There is limited capacity for hot water in the tank. Enough for one shower but may take up to an hour for the water to heat again.

The sink and bathtub have click-clack covers, simply pushing the cover down should release it and allow water to flow normally.
